Abenteuer in Eifelstein

director: Paul Cichon

studio: M.A.R.K.13

I directed six episodes of branded entertainment for Gerolsteiner mineral water on a tight schedule. My responsibilities ranged from storyboard, animatic and 3D layout to animation supervision and additional animation and design tasks. The show is about three dinosaurs protecting a magical cave from mischievious spirits.

Animanimals

director: Julia Ocker

studio: Studio Film Bilder

I was working as a co-designer and 2D animator on seven episodes of the TV show ANIMANIMALS by Julia Ocker. I was co-designing the characters for these episodes, choosing color schemes and creating the backgrounds. I also set up a library of animated clips of basic character movement and emotional expression. For episode 1 I provided extra animation in order to adjust the length of the original pilot to the length of the actual series episodes.

Playmobil

director: Regina Welker

studio: Woodblock

I did layout and previz for three promotional movies for Playmobil including the trailer of “Dreamworks: Dragons”, “The Explorers” and “Top Agents”.

Löwenzahn

director: Paul Cichon

studio: Studio Soi

I made two educational shorts about puberty and love for the German TV show Löwenzahn. You’ll learn how babies are made in a scientifically correct yet child friendly way. This particular episode of "Löwenzahn" has been nominated for the Grimme Preis 2015 which is an award that honors high quality television.

Opossum

director: Paul Cichon

studio: Insitute of Animation

Opossum is my graduation project. The film deals with planned obsolescence shown by the example of a coffeemaker and a little family of opossums. The actual production took about six months and the production is fully 2D animated. I was the director and also handled animation, design and the visuals (except some effects animation) in general. The movie is a one shot scene.
